VIDEO: I don’t need apologies but return of stolen funds – President Buhari replies UK PM
In reaction to British Prime Minister, David Cameron’s comment which denounced Nigeria as a “fantastically” corrupt country and one of the most corrupt in the world, President Buhari in the Anti-corruption summit claimed that he is does not need apologies but the return of funds looted from Nigeria to Britian.
“I don’t need any apology from anybody (British Prime Minister) , what I demand is return of assets.
I have already remarked how a Nigerian dressed like a woman to leave Britain but left behind his bank accounts and fixed assets.
And Britain has promised to return them. What will I do with apologies? What I need is something tangible,” Buhari said.
